Creating a Culture of Trust for Yourself and
Organization

Based on Stephen M.R. Covey's bestselling book, The Speed of Trust, we will
be learning about how you can establish, grow, extend, and restore trust
with your stakeholders, clients, and co-workers.  During this one-hour
session, DeVerl Austin, FranklinCovey Senior Consultant, will challenge the
assumption that trust is merely a soft, social virtue and instead
demonstrate that trust is a hard-edged economic driver.  When trust goes
down, speed goes down and cost goes up.
FranklinCovey's research shows that:
*   Total return to shareholders in high-trust organizations is almost
three times higher than the return in low-trust organizations.
*   Only 51% of employees have trust and confidence in senior management.
*   53% of individuals would stop, reduce, or switch their business to a
competitor because they have concerns about a company's trust.
We'll discuss the following questions:
*   How can trust be measured?
*   What are the business issues that result from the lack of trust and the
world at large?
*   What needs to change in order to adequately address this issue?
*   What actions can you, as a leader, take to create a stronger culture of
trust within your organization?
Please join us for an evening of exploring Trust - one of the critical
leadership competencies in this new global economy.
